- When space is at a premium a Vanguard Compact Gas Classic Hearth System is the perfect choice. Enjoy all of the same features and benefits of a full size Classic Hearth. These complete systems include a zero clearance compact firebox, vent-free split oak gas logs, brass louvers and concealed controls.
A Model For Every Need
- The Compact Classic Hearth is offered in three models. The 26,000 and 10,000 BTU fireplaces feature realistic dancing yellow flames. Both sizes are available with thermostatic controls plus a 26,000 BTU Classic Hearth with remote ready controls is offered. The thermostatically controlled models will automatically modulate to maintain your desired heat output. The remote ready unit offers you four optional remote controls as well as the ability to operate your Classic Hearth with the built-in variable manual control. Choose from a wall mount on/off switch or thermostat, and a hand held on/off or thermostat remote control. A thermostatically controlled blower is available to maximize heat output.
Accessories to Complete The Look
- Mantels with full hearth bases are available in both cabinet or corner styles. All mantels are available in oak stained or unfinished hardwood, ready to stain or paint. Firebox perimeter brass trim is included with every mantel. Optional three-sided and four-sided firebox perimeter brass trim is available for use with custom installations. They offer a simple way to cover rough or unfinished edges around the firebox.
Safety Features Built Into Every Fireplace
- Vanguard's Classic Hearth Vent-Free Gas Fireplace Systems are designed certified by the American Gas Association and meets or exceeds all regulations and safety performance standards for vent-free gas appliances. Additionally, these fireplaces perform well within nationally recognized guidelines for indoor air quality. the dual purpose safety pilot system protects against oxygen depletion and any interruption in the fuel supply. If either occurs, it shuts off the gas flow to the burner turning the heater off. An internal pressure regulator controls fluctuations in your gas pressure. These features ensure clean and reliable heat without the worry and inconvenience of vented gas logs or burning wood.
